Job Summary:
The Helpdesk Specialist will serve as a primary point of contact for technical support, focusing on desktop systems, network connectivity, and Highview Imaging Application issues. This role requires a strong customer service orientation and a solid understanding of PC hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and application issues, with emphasis on the Highview Imaging Application.
 - Respond to user inquiries, troubleshoot problems, and resolve incidents efficiently.
 - Maintain and support desktop environments including Windows and Office applications.
 - Document helpdesk procedures, issues, and resolutions.
 - Develop and maintain user manuals and technical instructions.
 - Conduct user training on Highview Imaging Application and other supported systems.
 - Collaborate with IT staff to identify and escalate complex issues.
 - Assist in system upgrades, patching, and deployment activities.
 - Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
 
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field OR 3 years of equivalent technical experience.
 - 7+ years of experience in a business IT environment with a focus on PC hardware and applications.
 - 5+ years of experience supporting PC operating systems (Windows, DOS) and helpdesk functions.
 - Experience with Highview Imaging Application (required).
 - Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
 - Ability to document and communicate solutions clearly.
